UPME's Energy Generation Plan projects a 53% share of renewable sources by 2037

The capacity expansion includes a share between 64% and 82% of the available portfolio, in solar photovoltaic, onshore wind, and gas thermal technologies.
The evolution of the generation matrix by 2037, within the framework of the Just Energy Transition (TEJ), entails a 53% growth in non-conventional renewable energy sources, coming from wind, solar, small hydroelectric plants, and smaller plants.
