We are pleased to share that CGM has played a key role in the approval of the environmental license for the 200 MW El Espino Solar Park, granted by the National Environmental Licensing Authority (ANLA) in the department of Córdoba.
In this process, CGM led compliance with Chapter 3 of the ANLA Terms of Reference, which establishes the technical and environmental criteria necessary for Environmental Impact Studies (EIA).
Our work included:
✅ Identification and assessment of environmental impacts.
✅ Detailed analysis of the physical, biotic and social components of the area of influence.
✅ Robust proposals for environmental management, mitigation and compensation.
✅ Development of an Environmental Management Plan (PMA) that guarantees the sustainability of the project at all stages.
The El Espino Solar Park, with 347,160 photovoltaic modules and an area of 833.79 hectares, is a giant step towards the energy transition in Colombia. This project will not only increase the installed capacity of renewable energy in the country, but will also promote a cleaner and more diversified energy matrix.
🚀 At CGM, we are committed to the responsible development of projects that make a difference for the planet and future generations. We appreciate the trust and the joint work with all the actors involved.
