Starting in October, ANLA will take over the competition for renewable energy generation projects of 50 megawatts or more, which previously only applied to projects of more than 100 MW.
According to UPME projections, more than 116 new projects with assigned connection points will be evaluated under this new framework. This opens the door for smaller projects to be evaluated with the same standards.
