UPME has identified critical priority works, such as the construction of the Tonchalá substation and the reinforcement of the Ínsula substation using dynamic compensators, which are essential to strengthen the networks in Norte de Santander.
In addition, projects such as the installation of synchronous compensators in La Guajira, César and Magdalena will not only improve the service, but will also open the field for renewable generation. ⚡🔋
However, for this effort to be successful, all entities involved must be aligned; if any are not, progress stops.
The works not only ensure energy, but also allow the integration of renewable energies such as solar and wind 🌞🌬️, which are key to our energy future.
From 𝗖𝗚𝗠, we remember the importance of these actions and we continue to move forward with studies and designs that support the transmission infrastructure. 🌱💡 Electricity grids must evolve along with demand and new renewable sources to ensure an energy transition that benefits all Colombians. 💼✅
